Strengthening the Church in Cameroon: A Partnership with CNBC
Following a "transformative" conference at Zion Baptist Church Mvogbesi in March 2026 , the Cameroon National Baptist Convention (CNBC) issued this formal letter of appreciation to Transformation Bible Ministries.
The letter highlights TBM's vital role in:
- Equipping Leaders: Providing sound hermeneutics for a Convention rapidly expanding into new regions.
- Strategic Partnerships: Initiating collaborations with the Baptist Evangelical School of Theology (BEST).
- Holistic Ministry: Seeking medical advisory for the Blessed Hope Health Centre.
This endorsement underscores TBM’s global impact in "helping others study and apply the Bible" within the growing body of Christ in Cameroon.

Weekly Devotions
What Faith Already Knows
The hard part is that this kind of faith doesn’t always feel like much when you’re in the middle of a dark season.
Running Toward Repentance
“As we yield to the Holy Spirit, He will do the heavy lifting. He changes our character to make us more like Jesus.”
When God Uses Small Moments
What seems like a passing comment becomes something much more. A connection. A memory awakened—a heart touched in a place that still carries both love and grief.
The Bow in the Cloud
We carry the weight of broken promises so long that we start to assume every promise has a breaking point. We know better than to say that about God out loud.
Creation Speaks — And So Does Grace
Later, I asked her directly — “Where do you think your faith comes from?”
Temptation vs Testing
Temptation does not come from God. Its purpose is to pull us away—to weaken us, to distract us, to lead us into choices that ultimately bring harm, shame, or distance in our relationship with Him.
God Wrote the Words
When purpose takes over, the results move from the talent of man to the realm of the Divine. We see this “Divine” perfection most clearly…
The Sufficiency of Christ
Paul didn’t get his thorn removed. He got something better. He got the reminder that the God of the universe was personally present in his weakness.
Your Will be Done
God’s kingdom sums up everything a Christian longs for and Corinthians 13 describes this as a world characterized by faith, hope, and love. If our earthly world was built on only these three principles, how much more peaceful, more beautiful, and more livable would it be than the world we’re living in right now?
What Did the Lord’s Prayer Mean to Me?
For many people, the Lord’s Prayer is something they learn early in life. For me, it’s as ingrained as my instinct to breathe.
The Waiting is the Hardest Part
This Psalm is often recited during the Jewish penitential season of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur because it contains a strong theme of encouragement during a period of time when Jewish people are concerned about their fate. It’s emphasis on answered prayers and tones of salvation provides deep comfort for Jews and Christians alike.
Thy Word is A Lamp to My Feet
Psalm 119 is not only the longest of the Psalters but it’s also the longest chapter of the Bible. It speaks so powerfully of God’s word that it is one of the most discussed passages of all Biblical scripture. Martin Luther had claimed he wouldn’t trade the whole world for “one leaf of it.”
We Love Him Because of Who He is Not Because of What He Gives
There is such profound adoration in this passage (Psalm 9), it reminded me of our ongoing relationship with our God. Wow, I thought after reading this again and again. It is not a relationship on merit or successful trials. Psalm 9 is not based on a relationship of you did this so I’ll do this. It is simply based on a relationship of love.
Asked and Answered
Psalm 51 was David’s direct plea to God for mercy. For this devotion, it’s good to know a little background about how David got to this point. David’s sins included: adultery with Bathsheba, murder of her husband Uriah, and in covering his sin from others. Of course, there is no covering any sins from God. He is aware of our transgressions and feels the pain from our behavior. Sometimes he breaks in on our lives to help us recognize the gravity of our sin in order to provide an opportunity for redemption.
Lead Me, Guide Me
After unpacking the “Lord’s Prayer” for several weeks, hopefully we’ve realized that Jesus wasn’t giving his disciples another ritual to follow, he was giving them a pattern of prayer to follow. Jesus exhorted his disciples to pray “in this manner” (NKJV) or “like this” (ESV). Jesus never asked his followers to memorize the words or to adopt another ritual to follow. He was showing his believers how to observe and how to pray.
Our Father in Heaven
This month, we’re going to study the “Lord’s Prayer” as many people call it. The label of “Lord’s Prayer” is a little bit of a misnomer. It’s actually a prayer that Jesus taught the disciples to use rather than a prayer Jesus made to God, the father (John 17:1-5). The disciples needed to see a proper example of humility and simplicity in prayer.
Debt Foregiveness
Since Jesus was both man and God, he knew our human needs, cravings, and longings. It is fair to say that he also knew how God would respond. Prayer is a way of asking God for things and for listening to his will. Good prayers present to God requests for specific needs. The Lord’s prayer suggest requests for daily provisions, forgiveness, and strength for resistance to temptation.
One is the Holiest Number
13 books in the New Testament are attributed to the Apostle Paul. Before his conversion to being a prolific and passionate Christian, he was a Jewish leader zealous for the persecution of Christians. What a twist. He hated followers of Jesus. He ordered the death and destruction of many of them. According to Acts, he approved the stoning of Saint Stephen, the first Christian martyr.

Revelation Study Guide
David Silver
Many people, even Christians, fear the book of Revelation. While it is one of the hardest books of the Bible to understand and apply, it is nonetheless possible to make great progress. It is actually one of the most encouraging books of the Bible. The main theme is for believers to continue to be faithful and endure tribulation, despite persecution, spiritual warfare, and trials. This study guide will take you through every chapter of Revelation and give you a good sense of the content and application. May God richly bless you as the book promises to those who take this book to heart.
