Strengthening the Church in Cameroon: A Partnership with CNBC
Following a "transformative" conference at Zion Baptist Church Mvogbesi in March 2026 , the Cameroon National Baptist Convention (CNBC) issued this formal letter of appreciation to Transformation Bible Ministries.
The letter highlights TBM's vital role in:
- Equipping Leaders: Providing sound hermeneutics for a Convention rapidly expanding into new regions.
- Strategic Partnerships: Initiating collaborations with the Baptist Evangelical School of Theology (BEST).
- Holistic Ministry: Seeking medical advisory for the Blessed Hope Health Centre.
This endorsement underscores TBM’s global impact in "helping others study and apply the Bible" within the growing body of Christ in Cameroon.

Weekly Devotions
What Faith Already Knows
The hard part is that this kind of faith doesn’t always feel like much when you’re in the middle of a dark season.
Running Toward Repentance
“As we yield to the Holy Spirit, He will do the heavy lifting. He changes our character to make us more like Jesus.”
When God Uses Small Moments
What seems like a passing comment becomes something much more. A connection. A memory awakened—a heart touched in a place that still carries both love and grief.
The Bow in the Cloud
We carry the weight of broken promises so long that we start to assume every promise has a breaking point. We know better than to say that about God out loud.
Creation Speaks — And So Does Grace
Later, I asked her directly — “Where do you think your faith comes from?”
Temptation vs Testing
Temptation does not come from God. Its purpose is to pull us away—to weaken us, to distract us, to lead us into choices that ultimately bring harm, shame, or distance in our relationship with Him.
God Wrote the Words
When purpose takes over, the results move from the talent of man to the realm of the Divine. We see this “Divine” perfection most clearly…
The Sufficiency of Christ
Paul didn’t get his thorn removed. He got something better. He got the reminder that the God of the universe was personally present in his weakness.
Your Will be Done
God’s kingdom sums up everything a Christian longs for and Corinthians 13 describes this as a world characterized by faith, hope, and love. If our earthly world was built on only these three principles, how much more peaceful, more beautiful, and more livable would it be than the world we’re living in right now?
What Did the Lord’s Prayer Mean to Me?
For many people, the Lord’s Prayer is something they learn early in life. For me, it’s as ingrained as my instinct to breathe.
Where is Your Temple?
I’ve had many conversations about religion and spirituality with people in my life. I don’t always think fast enough to articulate my views effectively. Needless to say, I’m not the best Apologist for the Christian faith. A close friend of mine said it’s usually better to find a point of understanding and ask questions rather than blasting someone with biblical quotes or mandates. That would turn me off, and I’m a believer.
Hoping, Trusting, and Waiting on God
A few Aprils ago, my Mom was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer in April and she succumbed to the disease only three months later. She was a wonderful, loving Mom and an even better Grandmother known as “Goggy.” I gained my appreciation for the arts and a good bit of artistic talent from her side of the gene pool.
Do you have a heart for God?
This week witnessed a sizable snowfall in parts of the Mid-Atlantic region. The storm especially hit Virginia at a bad time when traffic peaks around busy holiday weekends. Six tractor-trailer crashes and inadequate road crews couldn’t prevent what would happen next. I-95 was closed. Cars and trucks were stranded, some for over 24 hours, with no food, water, or fuel.
Faith Gives Me Strength
Merry Christmas! Did you know that for a large part of the Christian world, Christmas will be observed on January 7. This includes the Greek, Russian, Eastern Orthodox Churches, as well as the Coptic Orthodox church. A wonderful friend of mine, and coincidentally my next door neighbor, was kind enough to share his faith story for this beautiful holiday.
Christmas Would Be Meaningless Without The Gift
This sounds ironic, maybe hypocritical for me to write, but Christmas is about gifts. Actually, one gift. In society, Christmas is a time of celebration, good will, festivities, and gatherings. For believers, it’s when we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Most scholars don’t believe He was born on December 25th
Plans to Give You Hope and a Future
I met my friend (A) and her husband about 3 years ago. After some time and through many conversations, my wife and I became friends with them. She is one of those intriguing people you are eager to get to know immediately because you can see such godliness about her.
Knowing That God Will
I knew that she and her husband are followers of Christ. In our limited conversations over the past few years, we learned they were big time church goers. During the first lull between Covid waves, they were telling me how excited they were to go back to church — in person. In the past twelve months, we have become much closer and are good friends. I recently discovered that (S) wanted to share her story with me about Jesus Christ in her life.
Grace Makes Us Worthy
With the weeks leading up to Christmas, we’re going to devote time to look forward towards the birth of Christ and more importantly, what that means in this world. Some look at our Lord as an angry, wrathful God where we must earn His acceptance…

Revelation Study Guide
David Silver
Many people, even Christians, fear the book of Revelation. While it is one of the hardest books of the Bible to understand and apply, it is nonetheless possible to make great progress. It is actually one of the most encouraging books of the Bible. The main theme is for believers to continue to be faithful and endure tribulation, despite persecution, spiritual warfare, and trials. This study guide will take you through every chapter of Revelation and give you a good sense of the content and application. May God richly bless you as the book promises to those who take this book to heart.
