“Ask and you shall receive” does not mean that God will grant you every little thing that you ask for. Ask in his name, and God will grant you good things. Remember, the phrase ask and you shall receive will never disappoint, since you do not need anything that is not in God’s will.
In order to find God you must seek him. When you do look for him, you will certainly find him.
